Survey of school librarianship, functions of the school library, national and state professional guidelines and standards, ethical and legal issues; includes a field experience collection management project in a selected school library. Zoom is a desktop video conferencing system allowing for real-time interaction between instructors and students and requires access to a high-speed Internet connection, a webcam, and a headset microphone. Blackboard is a learning management system requiring Internet access and a web browser.
