AT 3125 Clinical Decision Making in Athletic Training and Orthopedic Pathology II

Entry-level study of the pathology of upper body orthopedic injuries and conditions that are commonly seen by certified athletic trainers and the process of making clinical decisions based on an understanding of evidence based athletic training relative to the type and severity of injury. Clinical decisions specific to orthopedic injury include: immediate care, recognition, diagnostic criteria, referral, and prognosis. (Fall or Spring). Prerequisite(s): admission into the Athletic Training program.
