LITED 6233 Advanced Comprehensive Intervention Model

This course is an advanced supervised practicum of intervention model for children experiencing difficulty in reading. Students will participate in an in-depth study of an intervention within the Comprehensive Intervention Model and implement the intervention in a school setting, collect portfolio data to document children's progress over time, and write an intervention report. This course may be repeated for a maximum of ten semesters in order to have sufficient time to learn the full menu of interventions offered within the Comprehensive Intervention Model.
