GEOG 4133/5133 Digital Earth: Story Mapping for All Grade Levels and Subject Areas

This workshop employs free cloud-based software that supports teachers and their students in the creating of visually rich story maps that can communicate themes in nearly every subject area and grade level. This workshop will provide examples from US History, Mathematics, American Literature, Human Geography, and Earth Science. This professional development addresses the new Iowa Core Geography Standards as well as particular content standards that vary according to the grade level and curriculum of each participant.
