MA students may pursue either a thesis or non-thesis option. SCI ED 6299 Research hours (six for thesis; three for non-thesis) may be taken at various times and increments (i.e. 1 unit of credit at a time) after completion of the five core courses in the sequence, and can be taken at a distance without coming to campus.
