Note: To complete the field experience component of the coursework, students will need to access an alternate age/grade level than their current teaching assignment. For example, students who are currently teaching at the high school level should register for an elementary field experience and students currently teaching in an elementary classroom should register for a secondary field experience. Students teaching at the middle school level should choose either the elementary or secondary field experience.
Courses must be taken concurrently.
All students pay the same tuition rate, regardless of location, making it an affordable option for all students.
Tuition for the 2017-18 academic year is $486 per unit of graduate credit or $302 per unit of undergraduate credit. An additional technology fee per course may apply. Tuition and fees are expected to rise each May, typically announced by the Iowa Board of Regents in March.
